These fit odd to me. The waist fits true to size but the hips run small. Leaving you with a pair of shorts that feel tight but you are still constantly needing to be pulled up. Also the cord closer doesn't give you very much adjustment, in my opinion. I'd try to go down a size to fix the waist fit but worried the hips will get tighter.I like the style, material and pocket design. The material is different but I like it. The pocket setup is closer to shorts then trunks, which I'm a big fan of.Love the print, fabric and fit but very see thru.Went camping in these and honestly only took them off to bathe. So light, airy, and comfy, seriously might have to get like 12 more pairs!I bought these for my teenage son & they are his favorite shorts. Fits as expected, great quality and awesome for trips because it folds into the back pocket and creates a lil sack. Love the pockets too.Update: Burton replaced the shorts through their waranty program, no questions asked.Faded from "true black" to faded, worn out black after being worn only twice. Really comfortable but not worth the price when they look like I've been wearing them for years after two uses
