Great boots. Solid, not too hard but not soft like a tennis shoe. Durable. Laces won't stay tied but I think the laces are pretty standard for new hiking boots from manufacturers. Followed a great youtube video for tying them a different way and now they don't come untied anymore. I've been wearing these in the snow and my socks haven't been wet, so they seem waterproof as advertised.I need a width 4e and these are a great option for getting toebox room! I could use a bit more width at the half way mark of the foot, but it could just be my feet, not the shoes.I highly recommend these for dry and snow hiking. They won't keep your feet warm, but they will keep your socks dry in all that fluff and slush as you clean your car of snow! Great shoes.
